             Final: R 6/12 10:30AM-12:30PM, 106 Wellman (all exams are open book and open notes).

Python Programming: An Introduction to Computer Science, John Zelle. Available at the UCD Bookstore, the publisher, or, e.g., Amazon (you might want to compare prices). Here's some additional material on Teaching with Python.

Course Overview: This is an introductory computer programming class for students with no prior computer programming background. In this course, you will learn the basics of programming using the Python language. The main way you will learn is by writing programs yourself. Some of the programs will process and analyze data, and some will generate some nice graphics.
